Fans know what they’re getting when they tune in to the channel’s feel-good, family-friendly entertainment.
And there’s comfort in familiarity.
But let’s be honest, predictable narratives only go so far.

Viewers want to see their favorite characters, people with whom they identify.
Hallmark takes it a step further, casting the same actors in multiple shows and movies.
But what’s the appeal for these former Hollywood celebs?
