Is there a TV pairing that’s been more unexpected or more unexpectedly delightful thanSnoop Doggand Martha Stewart?
On paper, partnering the joint-puffing rapper and the TV homemaker seemed an odd choice.
Premiering in 2016, the variety/cooking/talk show connected with viewers immediately.
AsDeadlinereported, the first episode attracted approximately 2.3 million viewers over two airings.
Then, after two seasons, the format of the show changed.
Naturally, she had to tell him he was doing it wrong.
“And you know what’s crazy, Martha?”
“Yeah, we were odd,” he said.
“But we fit right in.
You know, cooking with Martha just seemed like the right space to be in.”
As Martha has demonstrated for decades, she can bepainstakinglymeticulous when it comes to food preparation.
This is a truth that Snoop Dogg was quick to learn.
“Do what Martha says, that’s the rule in the kitchen,” Snoop explained.
“I’ve always had an open mind on where I could go,” he continued.
“I never had a cap or a limit on what I could do.”
In fact, the duo occasionally get together when they’re not working.

Snoop reiterated his feelings in an interview with “Today.”
She also praised his comedic timing and skill in the kitchen.
“I actually like to watch him cook,” she added.
That’s certainly applicable when co-hosting a show with Snoop.
“When you work with someone like Snoop, it’s like having a sidekick,” she shared.
“Snoop is my freedom.”
She did admit, however, that it can be “kind of fun.”
“So someone smokes marijuana?
“I must tell you, my toe got better within two days,” she confessed.

Snoop’s situation was a bit different.
Snoop was arrested in 2006 at London’s Heathrow Airport on charges of violent disorder.
Specifically, Snoop and five associates were arrested after they reportedly started a brawl that injured seven police officers.
Snoop’s lawyers appealed the ban, and he eventually emerged triumphant.
Martha chimed in with a comment, writing, “That’s why I like you so much.
Birds of a feather!”
What’s the real reason they get along so well together?
Over the years, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg have only gotten closer.
Speaking withPeople, Snoop explained the simple reason why he and Stewart get along so well.
“She let’s me do me and accepts me for who I am.
She doesn’t take a stab at change me,” he said.
“Martha will always be my friend.”
Snoop elaborated in an interview withRolling Stone.
“I’ve never met anyone like Martha Stewart,” he declared.
“When we come together, it’s a natural combination of love, peace, and harmony.”
On the flip side, Martha has admitted that Snoop has been instrumental in shaping her musical tastes.
“I’ve learned a lot about music from Snoop and our guests,” Martha revealed.
“He’s extremely knowledgeable, he’s also very amusing.”
“I get kind of high from secondary smoke,” she admitted.
“I’m not a smoker myself, but the smoke is quite thick around the set.”
That said, all the guests do enter Snoop’s trailer, she says.
That’s the way he lives.”
Indeed, for Snoop, it’s just business as usual.
“Sometimes I may smoke one blunt, sometimes I may smoke 100 blunts,” he shared.
“It depends on what’s necessary for me to do what I’m doing.”

“We do business dealings together, and he’s pretty avant garde.
He’s quite amazing.
