Todd and Julie Chrisley have overcome quite a lot sincegetting togetherin the ’90s.

Todd’s ex-wife told toDaily Mailthat theChrisley Knows Beststar was both mentally and physically abusive throughout their marriage.
Radar Onlinenoted that Julie also married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Wayne Childress,in 1991.
She was only 18 years old at the time whileher groom was 24.

In 2012, long after the couple’s relationship ended, Childress sadly passed away.
However, that’s not the only murky detail from her past.
Another source toldthe outletthat Julie’s marriage to her first husband ended in scandal.

In fact, their relationship allegedly caused a fight between Todd and Julie’s ex.
Nevertheless, Julie loves them the same as she does her biological children.
In fact, she legally adopted Lindsie at Lindsie’s request.

It’s a conclusion that other people have come to over the years, including fans ofChrisley Knows Best.
Julie doesn’t seem to mind the rumors, though, at least not according to Todd.
And, at 39, Julie was young enough that she wasn’t undergoing regular mammograms.

Thanks to Todd’s encouragement and insistence, Julie’s cancer was discovered early, possibly saving her life.
The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2016.

They also had dinner together and spent some time with their kids.
It seems that Julie Chrisley has been given a lot of expensive jewelry over the years.
However, she ended up paying off the debt in full before her personal belongings could be seized.

Julie confirmed that she and Todd have no contact with Lindsie as of January 2021.

Kyle’s struggle with addiction led to Todd and Julie getting custody of his daughter,Chloe Chrisley.
Kyle seems to have gotten closer to Chloe as well, and regularly posts family pictures onInstagram.
The couple have also co-hosted their own podcast calledChrisley Confessionssince 2018.

Each episode is roughly an hour long, and a new one is released each Wednesday.
