Celine Dion’s voice has dominated the music industry for decades.
Her career skyrocketed to new heights with the debut of her years-long Las Vegas residencies.

I have been thin all my life.

In both versions of the video, her emotional vulnerability is visible and heartfelt.

Dion said that this diagnosis meant that she finally understood why she had previously experienced so many spasms.
She told fans that she had to postpone her “Courage” tour.
The European leg was supposed to commence in February 2023, but Dion said that she wasn’t ready.
Stiff-person syndrome can impact people with a range of severity.
For some, the spasms are light and can be treated with medication.
However, on the more extreme end of the spectrum, the disorder can leave people virtually immobile.
It’s considered an autoimmune disorder because the brain and muscles no longer work together.
Increased levels of antibodies attack a protein that helps to control muscle movement.
It marked her film debut, which seems hard to believe considering her lengthy career.
Because of her health concerns, Dion wasn’t able to promote the movie with her co-stars.

Her final message was hopeful though, and she expects one day to continue performing.
She repeated the message in French.
